Depends on bale weight and loader strength. This yr I put them on end, 2 high. But On the heavier bales, I ripped plastic here and there tipping them up. There's so much leverage out on the end of our bale grab it's hard to get some turned up. So next yr I'll go back to a triangle, 3 high. I was recently in Iceland and that's how they all do it over there too I noticed.
