Subject: RE: Fencing question

Northern Kentucky
Just got done with a 1350' section 3 sides that tied into an existing fence that cost me $1.5 a foot. Took me and 2 helpers roughly 80 total man hours. My tractor and rock drill 4 corners 5-6" treated post set every 75' with T post every 25' in between. 4 wires 2 hot with slip on insulators. Had to drill most of the post since the ground was rocky. Have another 5,000 ft to go on my NRCS contract which they only pay $1.5 a foot on.

Wire: 200
Insulators: 50
T post: Bought them used for a $1 a piece so $36
Brace wire, crimps, steeples: 150
Labor & Fuel: 1000
