Centre county Pennsylvania, USA | Trimble's EzGuide-500 provides a USB exported system log that has date-time stamped entries for many run-time events. All we need now is a data dictionary for the event fields in that log. With that, we will have the equivalent of an aircraft black box that we can replay to determine what went wrong. I searched Trimble's download files for that data dictionary but couldn't find any mention of it. As shown in the snippet of an exported EzGuide-500 system log below, some of the entries in those event fields are self explanatory, such as "Engaged autosteer" or Disengaged autosteer" or "GPS S[11:10] Q[1:1]" which seems to be logging number and quality of GPS satellites. The event field shown below that is time stamped 17:09:40 appears to contain some useful info but can't even guess what. Can anyone explain how to decipher the info in that "Stinger" event entry line ?
