Subject: Re: EZ-Guide on a boat.

Sunnyvale, CA
I've heard of EZ-Steer with the EZ-Guide 500 used on a boat. For vehicle setup they used Swather configuration was used because of the rudder on the transom for steering is similar to the way a swather steers from a vehicle dynamics point of view. What speeds do you troll at?

If you do use the EZ-Steer system on a boat you do want to keep the motor dry because it is not sealed and if it is on salt water be very careful because the EZ-Steer motor will notice any salt spray in ways you don't want to see. If you do set one up on a boat, please email me a picture using my email address in my profile.
