To upgrade ez-steer firmware you will need to place the new firmware and toolbox (shown in screen snap below) in some directory in a laptop that has serial (dB9) connector then connect that to the ez-steer steering controller's (not light bar) input db9 connector using a serial cable, then click on toolbox to start upgrade.
