south central MN | In today's Minneapolis Tribune is an article about claiming money owed to people that is turned over to states by companies, utilities, insurance companies, electrical coops, and others because the rightful owners can not be found. The states put the money in their general funds and are supposed to find the rightful owners. The states do not try very hard to do this. To see if you are owed anything go to www.missingmoney.com and type in your last name and any states you have lived in. I was bored so I put in some of my Facebook friends last names and states and found I will have many happy friends next week. This is not a hoax or joke because i have helped recover thousands of dollars owed to my Grandmothers estate and a cousin a few years ago.
