Wife and I were at concert in Nashville. Did not sing Baby Blue there either. Rumored to be written in memory of his late daughter. Probably rough on him. He seems like a genuine nice man.
Pretty sure that is the reason but sure would have like to hear it live just once! Sure as the day is long he is a genuine good guy. Have an aunt/uncle that live in San Antonio area. My grandma has been gone since 2001 and it was many years before she was in the airport there. She was having a conversation with a "nice young man" that my aunt later told her was old George as she walked away! He would frequent the HEB my uncle managed back in the 90's at times also. |
