| I wish my grandma had the same sentiments. I just started farming this year, and my grandparents both knew I was obsessed with it from a very young age. Grandpa always liked me being involved with his farm. When he sold his equipment 18ish years ago he let grandma's nephew farm it since I was much too young. Grandpa is gone now, and grandma changed a lot to the point of telling me I'm not farming her ground while she's alive because "family is farming it now". As if I'm not family.
Some old farm families will give everything to thier heirs, some make them work for it, some are just greedy and will not change. | |
