Subject: RE: Corn burning furnases

Blackstock, Ont
Old outdoor wood stove would not keep up last winter. Bbbreezy a bit tired of hauling and chopping wood even though we have endless supply and decided to go with Classic outdoor corn furnace. After talking to their rep decided on Classic dual fuel outdoor wood. Much larger firebox than our old woodoctor; takes much bigger pieces and it should have no problems keeping up. We have an endless supply of corn also, but corn furnace needs dry corn and firebox must be cleaned out on a very regular basis. More to go wrong and when there is a problem it is usually a larger more $$$ fix than the wood stove. If we happen to go away in the winter for a day or so can switch to propane, just to keep things from freezing. Poor bbbreezy has to feed furnace 12 months of the year as we heat the pool all summer with the woodstove and I wont use pool unless it is at 90F :)
