They had a C-5 at the Grand Junction show years back; a nasty thunderstorm blew in just about at the end of the show, & pretty much the whole crowd took shelter in the C-5...hard to realize size of the thing until you're inside it.
TheC-5 sat here for about a week after the show, they said they had to fly in a generator to start the engines, the local ones couldn't do it...I always wondered if there was something fishy about that story-one of the crew was a local guy, I suspected they just took a little R&R time... | |
