West Tennessee | Malathion mixed to 4 or 5% mixture will keep them away. We mix this up and spray around buildings. No wasps for the year with that mix. It will even keep carpenter bees and dirt daubers away as well. There will be even less the next year since they didn't nest there the year before. It will leave a bit of a white residue if that's not a problem. The residue washes right off if you need to.
