Heck yeah! Some of the best wines in the world come out of the Hermann & Augusta, Missouri, region. Augusta is about a 45 minute drive east/northeast drive from Hermann. East on Hwy 100, cross the Missouri River Bridge at Washington, cut through Dutzow and hop on Hwy 94.
If you go to Hermann, be sure to stop by my favorite, Röbller Vineyard & Winery in New Haven, just east of Hermann. I'd recommend Stone Hill and Adam Puchta in Hermann.
