NE IL | I've learned a ton from this Org out of Iowa about saving seed and heirlooms. Haven't bought any seed from them yet. You can sign up to receive a free seed catalog without becomming a member. Filled with neat stories about the heirloom seed and saving tips in addition to their o.p. seeds. Yes it does sound time consuming, and every crop has it's own little nuances to follow, but great way to connect to our heritage and preserve some of the "old ways".
