Has anyone built in a house inside a metal building. This would be just a house, no shop connected. I want to do all the interior work myself. I was thinking if you could get a metal building cheaper and quicker then waiting for the exterior of a stick built house to be done. Ive done some reading and if done right they can be better insulated (because of more room to insulate, thicker walls) and they can be stronger, they are engineered to withstand very high wind ratings.

You could have the exterior up in no time and take your time finishing up the interior. Am i off base? Would it really be any cheaper? It seems to be a popular trend, videos on you tube of people doing and there are alot of topics on it in other forums. Whats your take on it.

This would be for a family of 3 (at the moment)
