If you know the BTU of the burner and it has an orifice, you can drill it out to the proper size for NG delivered at 1/4 psi. There are charts on the Internet that will show you what size orifice you need.

The attached chart shows a 10,000 btu burner needs an orifice about a size 54 running 7"wc of NAT. Gas.
