Watkinsville, Ga. | I had the surgery three years ago this month. The doctor diagnosed as plantar fascitis (sp?). It was in the highest part of my arch so about dead center of the length of my foot and had caused the tendons in my arch to start growing around it. The doc told me he had to "clean out" the area around it because if it grew back it would be with a vengeance so he scraped tissue from the arch portion of my foot, from the heel to the ball. There's folks out there with a lot worse problems than a bum foot so I deal with it and go on down the road.
