I called and got a person that looked up my vacuum sweeper, found the belt for it and assured me it was correct.  I got the belt and it wasn't.

I called knowing that I couldn't get my money back and couldn't return the part.

The lady I got had been working there for 20 years.  She took time to make certain my sweeper part was correct and asked some pertinent questions.  We discovered that the vacuum sweeper does have a belt BUT you need to know the model of the power head too.  I discovered the power head model number and she found the correct belt.

All the time she apologized and called me Mr. Kurt.    She also said she'd take to former belt and shipping charge off my credit card and send this new belt with no shipping charge.  That was Tuesday.  I got the belt today and it is the correct belt.

I hope all Sears employee's are as competent and as nice as she was.   There are good people in the world and I run into them a lot of the time.
