St.Clair Co. IL. | over the last 40 plus yrs. I have delivered concrete to a LOT of places some not so nice, I guess because of this I have taken a lack of fear feeling about going to some of these places, I feel if you feel afraid and look afraid you better get out of dodge.
I have stopped older folks in bad neighborhoods who look out of place I ask them are you lost? they say why do you ask? and I say cause you look lost and you don't look like you belong here, well they are and I usually direct them back the right way they ask before they leave why are you here? and I laugh and say cause it's my job.
so you can find cesspool parts of EVER city but not ALL cities are cesspools, those that know E.St. Louis know there are still some nice areas there and then there are areas that even the locals won't go to.
ya just gotta know your surroundings and not show fear.
and always ALWAYS be ready to release the brakes and drop the hammer!!! LOL
