| Tried out my new Tee Jet Boom Pilot today and so far am very pleased. I put it in a 2000 1254 RoGator with a Raven 661 controller. Tee Jet sent a generic harness for this application and I had to hard wire it myself but it wasn't too bad. They soon will have a smart cable for this but don't yet. I found a three acre sand nob I could get to between the quicksand holes and put it through its paces. It performed very well. What I especially liked is when it is put on manual mode the RoGator controls operate like it wasn't installed. The one thing that I would change is it has no memory. If it is shut off it loses the field. Tee Jet says the next software update will have some memory. All in all for $1000 it seems to be a very good boom controller product. | |
