| Trying to figure out the cost of wild blue berries after yesterday miss adventure.
long story:
Brother took daughter and one of her friend blueberry hunting in a forest reserve
about 20 miles north. About 4 PM I get a phone call, they got his little bronco
stuck. Told me to get his truck and come in a different road, as they had crossed
one light log bridge. The road on was pot hole after pot hole. I got to within
1/4 mile when I drop his ford into a quick sand pot hole. front was out of water,
but back of box was under water. We got his little truck out with some jacking
and trees. Then home to get tractor. 41km trip by Google, and pull out truck.
Got home at midnight. Figured big tractor was only option as his little bronco
couldn't do anything and yes we had to cross the first location again, but this time
brother was driving.
Yes I was surprized but found road and spot on google earth and it routed me
home by the roads I use with tractor. | |
