The people that see organics as the problem probably don't get out of the basin much. You have to spend some time in Portland, the Bay, or even Las Vegas to understand how disconnected people are from agriculture. Once you realize that, and how many people there are in those urban areas (and that they vote...) it sort of changes your perspective on what the future of agriculture is going to look like. | |
