E85- $2.59/gal
I fill up with E85 every chance I get. The reason is pretty clear why the oil companies want to eliminate ethanol. They can't tolerate losing a monopoly position. The one effort was an attempt to make hoses to dispense ethanol illegal. They wanted to make sure they kept everybody safe. Yup, they were looking out for us.
I may be off on the numbers, I filled the pickup today and it was better than $1 /gal difference.
