Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I was under the impression that some banks would not let you print your own checks because the account and routing numbers at the bottom used a special ink? So the scanners could read the numbers easier?
Anyway, we write so few checks anymore that the cost of checks is not really on my radar screen. Full disclosure: our bank has an online bill pay system where I tell them who and how much to pay and they send the checks. Everything else is done online and is ACH or credit card. |
