Lenawee Co Michigan | To greatly, and I mean greatly reduce the cost of printing and eliminate buying ink cartridges, get a set of permanent reset chips for your cartridges, then refill them from pint bottles.
The chip on the cartridges tells the printer to stop printing after a certain period of time regardless of the amount of ink in them. You then have to buy a new cartridge set which will also expire even if they are full of ink.
The replacement chip scrambles the printer's memory so it won't 'time out' your cartridges, and they will then work as long as your printer lasts (for years).
