Subject: RE: Washing Machine

Rolla, ND
Well, did the not getting clean just happen or has it been that way all along with current machine?

Your washing machine may be dirty most common is soap buildup.

Run it through a cycle or two with some vinegar in it.

Then a question becomes is your water soft? If it's not, a half cup of baking soda works better than adding more detergent.

Borax, if you haven't tried it, do so, used to be real common but not many use it today. Half a cup per load.

Also see about the detergent being used. Some just don't seem to me to do a good job. Adding more than needed can also make things worse and not better.

Also loads may be too big and machine just can't work.

Then we get into the question, is it the clothes aren't clean or does your wife just want a new washer?
