Indiana | I mentioned the dog patch in the first thread. It has been 3 1/2 years since I've been there. Sorry for the poor recommendation. There's enough seasonal businesses in the UP that know how to treat their clientele that I will take my money elsewhere next time if it's going downhill like this.
It does sound like you had a nice trip and got to see some of the entire UP.
