Subject: RE: dogs keeping coons out of sweet corn

south east Indiana
Can't go wrong with a great Pyrenees as a guardian dog on most livestock operations. they will keep everything from buzzards to coons to deer to coyotes off the place, at least mine do a good job for me.
Not to many folks want to get out of their car unannounced with a dog looking in their window barking at them, an added bonus.

If the corn is close to the house I would think most dogs of any size would take care of it

Depends of the size of your field but Preimer1 has electric netting designed just for that
