Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | Is it too early to begin to wonder about what harvest conditions are going to be like if this rain and cool keep up all summer? I was spraying beans yesterday and noticed that it is beginning to get a little soggy under foot. We had a very dry May and June so some rain was very welcome but now with the every other day rain events it is beginning to be concerning. Hopefully in August and Sept. it will dry up and let some of this excess moisture drain off before harvest time. As Clay SEIA points out the wet spots are quite striking. Last year they were hardly noticeable but this year they show up like John Deere Yellow against John Deere Green and seem to be getting bigger.
