Northcenteral Iowa | I was thinking about grinding alfalfa with shelled corn for my goats to minimize hay waste. Will goats eat ground hay. I would run the hay and corn through a grinder mixer maybe a 50/50 mix of corn and alfalfa.
This would allow me to feed more corn with out having to worry about acidosis. This would be fed to my brood does. I will also offer corn stalks free choice. | |
