First off, it sounds like his motor doesn't have a problem. Second, you can buy about 5 complete EZ-steer systems for what 1 autopilot system costs so I guess if you break 5 of them maybe the autopilot would be a better way to go. Although I have never heard of an EZ-steer going bad. Not to mention you can move the EZ-steer from tractor to tractor where the hydraulic system is married to one tractor. I realize you can switch the controller and screen to different tractors with autopilot but you still need the hydraulic kit for every tractor.
