Can't argue with much of anything that has been said. I do believe there is no rational or logic afoot in the Mideast, and it seems to me that Washington has no idea how the Mideast works, and perhaps nobody does. also, Iraq, Syria and Iran are only a stones throw from "Ukraine," the reliable supplier whom is only a spitwad from Vlad the impaler. Seems like the entire region could go to pot, perhaps not by war but by paralysis. Someone earlier, and I forget, mentioned not operating the wells, refineries and pipelines, but using them as leverage. For as long as these people carry grudges(forever) and the fact they will cut off their hand to spite their neighbor, I think they may try to lever for a very long time.
