Oklahoma Panhandle | The breakdown of the family. Family is what every society is built upon and it's impact on ag is huge. If you want decent employees and neighbors and a stable economic environment to do business in you need strong families. It is sad and scary to see the situations that so very many children are in.
Most of the ag issues mentioned in this excellent thread need good, honest, committed people to solve them. Those kind of people don't just happen they are grown in the good soil of family. (I'm not saying that there aren't great people that come from tough family situations.) | |
