Northern KY | Talked with a guy today that told me there was a distillery about 40 miles from me that has a by product that he called was slop it was in liquid form and was basically a self serve setup when you pick it up from them and is free. Is this considered a wet distillers grain or is this something else. Looking for information on it as far as protein? Best way to store and feed? And is it worth getting? This would be fed to holstein steers. What kind of consumption would the calves have per day for a 400-500 lb calf? Kind of new to all these distillers by products, so don't beat me up to bad.
