West of Broken Bow | Got some good news for a change. As some of you know, mom had cancer surgery earlier this year and has not healed well. Since last year she has endured many hospital stays, visits, and just about every test possible to check for cancer and other issues.
Thankfully today she was told that she is officially cancer free. Hurray!!
A previous hospital was a horrible experience for her and added to her fears after having strokes. I won't try to explain all that happened, but the employees and occurrences were brought to the attention of management. A carryover from that hospital was that the doctors there never told us that a nodule on the adrenal gland was found during scans. It was a doctor at a different hospital that informed us about it. At least it isn't cancerous.
Mom was really dreading today's doctor visit, because she was to learn if the areas on a lung and adrenal gland were bad news.
NO MORE CANCER! Thank you for your prayers and thoughts everyone.
