| 1. You can try fake owls. Chances are mixed reaction at best. Best is to cut tree down and get an awning for shade.
Other option is build a hard roof system over the deck. bird crap on awning style isnt good
2.Dimaceous earth spread around should do it. Regular spraying with Tempo would not hurt.
