NC Kansas | Yeah, I'm guessing the crook we are talking about probably smarted off and said something to the effect of, "come and get it if you want it back"... maybe that gets you off the hook for trespassing. I'm guessing the contracter is a little lighter in the wallet but will have a good story to tell over a couple beers some day! Plus some dignity...and that's worth something.
