I don't think they are losing there appeal, but Increased ticket prices have made it hard for many people to take the family out to a game.

What really chaps my a$$ is when a good game is coming to town, football for example or the all star game this summer, I'll end up buying from a scalper and it's going to cost god knows how much over face value. I know it's virtually impossible, but I wish something could be done about that. Just think how much more money would be spent at the ballpark, hotels, restaurants if thousands of people didn't have to pay $000s more just for a ticket.

The more I think about it, I think I'm more frustrated with concession prices. Went to a couple MN Wild games and 2 beers / 2 brats (wife seemed to think she needed one) was 30 bucks before tip. That's just flat out ridiculous. It's tap beer for crying out loud. LOL, of course I keep buying though. Gotta have a brew at the games.
