I think the White Mountain version with a wood tub is still available.
I think it is made by Rival.
It is made with either hand crank or electric.
The electric motor has a limited life.
One possibility is get the hand crank version and replace the crank with an electric drill.
My first wife bought a new White Mountain a couple years ago. Made in China. First motor didn't last a whole batch. Replacement motor came in a month or so and has worked fine, though it is rather noisy IMO. Hard to beat homemade ice cream.
An ice cream maker is one of those things that many folks buy and seldom/never use. Often available 'like new' at rummage sales or on Craigslist.
