| Guys, have a cow, old model, one of my best, purchased from Leachman's in 2001, she has keeper kind every time, numerous daughters in the herd and sell big value bulls most times from her. Anyway, she has a case of foot rot, got another cow that is suspect, we are very wet here in SW Ontario, lots of mud. My pasture covers a big area, so I tried do'n her today in the open, broke the needle, she could run faster then me, but we were a mile or more from the corral. I get back in the truck and think'n, if I had a pole injection system, I could have gave her a couple. Any U guys use a Stock Doctor or similar. I had one many years ago, I think it was called a 'western gun', but some how loaned it out and never came back, I vaccinated for scours around the hay feeder with it, recorded to tag #'s and was easy.
Anyone use one of these things? | |
