Have a 2014 3230 Sprayer with Pro 700 for Rate & Section control ( Outback Max for Guidance)

Seems like it takes forever for rate to catch up or slow down . Have played with settings based on manual and just not sure if ive got it right .

This is a 90 ft boom , NO aim , with RFM60 flowmeter .

Been running anywhere from 10 to 15 GPA and it just seems like it takes to long to change , may just be that on my old sprayer (3150) with the 460 controller that it wasn't showing it as fast as the pro 700 ??

Oh and why in the world would they not make it run off gps for the controller instead of only being able to use radar , And the mapping start at the antenna instead of the boom?

I have a 2012 4430 that did the same thing your 700 is doing in regards to rate. Case IH came out and updated the 700 to the newest version (for the life of me I can't remember what version that is right now) and that fixed my rate fluxuation for the most part. I'm use a 4600 rate controller and it was a huge adjustment going to the 700. You can change what speed the 700 reads off of in settings, you have a choice of radar or satellite.
