Woods county Oklahoma | I know a guy that was doing something similar in Eakly Oklahoma
He had several guys down in goat country in Texas (San Angelo area) that he bought from.
He'd contract so many each month from different ones and he'd go pick them up and haul to his place and the buyer would send a truck for them.
They were all going up in the NE somewhere.
There was an article in the Livestock weekly talking about the buyers at the goat auctions in Texas and the truck loads of goats being bought and hauled up there for the middle eastern(muslim) population.
It said there are tons of goat meat imported from Australia, but they want live goats and they have to be killed in a certain fashion to meet certain religious holidays and standards.
They claimed the US doesn't come close to meeting the demand for goat meat and import tons each year.
