Casey IL. ( I -70 ) then south on rt.49 | Things have been like a mad house for me the past few weeks. So I am sorry on being late but you no what they say better late than never.
I visited Dan at his beef farm. He is one great guy to talk to. His place is nice and he has plans to improve on it. He has a round pen and alley way to his chute inside a barn.
He runs around 200 and some brood cows. He feeds his claves out. He also grain farms several acres. I am guessing he stay very busy. His hired hand Dan seemed to be very worthy of his jobs. I talked to him before Il cow man got ( he was doing some spaying over on another road ).
My wife and I enjoyed the visit and would like to go back.
Thanks to both Dan's for a nice visit and taking time out of your work to show us around.
