Honestly I think goats are pickier than sheep. Goats like browse, they like leaves from woody plants. My sheep will eat lots of weeds. the ironweed they hit pretty hard and have pretty much taken care of it in one pasture that had been used for horses. They will eat queen annes lace and golden rod and rose bushes...they will eat some of the thistles, they eat the burdock some as well.

I have never had more than a handful of goats so my experience there is somewhat limited. Maybe Big Dirt will chime in, I think he runs goats in with his sheep some so might be able to compair them in the same pasture.
