| Trail Ridge road is the one way road MidMofarmer is talking about. It is a must do in Rocky Mountain National Park, beautiful drive and lots of fun.
I recommend white water rafting the Arkansas River between Gunnison and Colorado Springs. We did that a few years ago and it was awesome! So much fun! Definitely worth the time and $$. Also the mine at Cripple Creek was a good time.
I prefer to drive interstates really fast and stop as little as possible until I reach my destination, but to each there own. Colorado is a beautiful place. Have fun!
