E.Central MN | Ok, sure hope we don't have to ship the cattle by rail to get those global prices...seems like the global beef market would be ideal for South America to take over. They're raising more corn, they've got lots of grassland, low priced labor, less environmental rules to deal with, etc. Unfortunately they have a case of mad cow disease which will likely affect their exports. And they don't have the rail transportation system we have...or is that a good thing??? | |
