Your not that far above sea level. 9 foot tide puts water across half the farm in Tillamook. 10 foot tide gets most of it, all with a little west wind to push it. If we didn't get 100 inches of rain a year most of the lowland would be junk due to the salt incursion. The tide didn't cover as much when I was a kid, and I'm not that old, yet. What does a 1 foot rise in mean sea level do to those of us who have sea level land?
