We used a shop vac also, we also put a smaller extension on so we could suck most of it out of the meter. Before the shop vac I tore the meniscus in my knee lifting a half full one next to one of the transport wheels. That cost me 3 years of pain before i had it fixed and $10,000.00
Dumping those 3 bushel hopper on JD planters.
