SC Wisconsin | I may have missed something in all the details because it is complex, but why didn't you just call your credit card and charge back everything but the correct charge? That's the best thing about credit cards - they will immediately turn the charge around on the vendor if you tell them there are issues with it. You've got some pretty big issues. Alternatively, saying the word "chargeback" to the vendor typically gets pretty quick reaction. Or it has when I was forced to go there.
What credit card provider are you using? An hour wait time is unheard of.
