1234 - 5/5/2014 06:05 Yesterday my neighbor was bemoaning the wet cold ground and not being able to plant corn. When I suggested he switch to a shorter day corn he complained that there was none available. It had all been sucked up already. Has anyone heard that? Any talk of this on "Crop Talk"? (I think he is being a little too pessimistic too soon, but another week of this wet cold weather and maybe I'll put the gun to my head. ) This is one of those threads that it would help to post a general location or what maturity range you're looking for rather than "short day corn". "Short day corn" is a lot different in MN than it is in Missouri. |
