Just don't give the NMSP a reason. They like to shoot first then see if you are guilty.
Or the reservation cops. #1 rule of driving in the west... don't speed on the rez.
As to the original question, municipal/county tickets rarely follow you home, never had one report to insurance either. State highway patrol/state police tickets sometimes will. Insurance company always seems to find out about those.
That point system thing is a racket for the "drivers ed" people. I had a nail biter a few years back with some tickets in CA that put me to my 12 month quota, and a new ticket in Utah, that luckily never showed up. But not after I'd paid my $100 to take another class. | |
